A Variety of Instruments are Used
All sound baths are unique in their own right, with a variety of instruments being used to help you relax, meditate and cross the bridge from chaos into comfort. I like to use a combination of instruments that include crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, synthesizers, chimes, gongs, drums, and rattles when used together, these instruments help me create binaural beats, solfeggio tones, and energy frequencies that have a deeply healing effect on the mind, body, and spirit.
For those wanting a more immersed sensory experience with their sound bath, I also offer the opportunity to wear virtual reality goggles, which provide visual cues in alignment with the sounds I produce to guide you to a deeper state of relaxation.
While the same instruments are primarily used with each sound bath, the resulting auditory experience is always unique. Just like no two songs are the same, neither are two sound baths.
Experience a Range of Healing Benefits
Sound baths don’t just help you relax. They also help you heal. By going into a deeper state of relaxation, your body will experience a range of psychological and physical benefits that will benefit you long-term.
Some of the most common benefits of sound baths include decreased feelings of stress, increased feelings of focus and energy, enhanced sleep, and an overall sense of improved wellbeing.
But that goes without saying that each person will ultimately experience a sound bath differently. It is normal for some people to feel more energized with others feel calmer.
Sound impacts each person differently – and it is largely based on the needs of your own wellbeing at that specific period of time. In my private sound bath sessions, I am to create an auditory experience that supports overcoming a specific issue – with the best results often being seen after three consistent sessions.
Simply Lie Still and Soak it In
Similar to what you would do in a literal bath – where you soak in stillness so your body can absorb the benefits of the water and bath minerals – a sound bath requires pretty much the same thing: to lie in stillness.
Whether you come in for a private session or join a community sound bath, your only requirement is to lie in stillness and soak in the sound. The rest will happen naturally. And the more open you are to accepting the sounds, the more impactful the sound bath will likely be for you.
In all my sound bath sessions I set up a cozy space for you to lie in stillness on, with mats and pillows available. Bringing other props such as eye pillows and blankets is always an option too.
Sound Healing Can Also Happen on the Go
While there is nothing that quite compares to being physically present at a sound bath, it is still possible to also experience a sound bath on the go. In fact, I have created playlists that use binaural beats and solfeggio tones and can create the same results of deep focus and relaxation.
My Running to the Beat playlist has been curated for those who want to feel more energized during their workout, with each second offering a specially curated sound to support all athletic movements.
I’ve also created Heavens Lounge, which is another playlist that uses auditory precision to help relax the mind, body, and spirit – both in the home and out in public settings.
Anyone Can Heal from Sound
The healing power of sound is accessible to anyone. Regardless of age, gender or race, the human body is designed to absorb and benefit from sound.
I’ve helped people heal from PTSD, autism, and numerous physical illnesses. So if you are looking to cross the bridge from chaos into comfort, signing yourself up for one of our sound baths will guide you into an auditory nirvana – with life-changing results!
